Jobs · Roster · Operating Group

Build quiet infrastructure for independent restaurants.

We are a small operating group working with restaurants, not above them. We hire operators, engineers, writers, and builders who like messy real-world problems next to people on a floor.

How we work
Kitchen first
What we build
Six systems, one memory underneath
Where we are
Remote, with time in real rooms
This is not a recruiting funnel

We hire when we have to, not when we feel like it.

Relish is small on purpose. Roster is the talent system underneath the restaurants we already work with — applicants, referrals, alumni, and the staff memory that survives the manager.

We open a role when an operator on the floor needs the work done and we have heard the same problem in three rooms. We do not pipeline. We do not warehouse résumés. We do not sell access.

What the work feels like

Less ticket queue. More floor time.

A week starts in a kitchen.
You ship to twelve rooms, not twelve thousand.
Writing is part of the job.
Decisions are written down.
No on-call theater.
Slow over busy.
People · Look for · And don't

People we look for.

  • Operators who left a kitchen for software, then came back.
  • Engineers who can write.
  • Writers who have worked a service.
  • People who finish things.
  • People who notice when a vendor tries something.

People we don't.

  • Lifelong SaaS.
  • Hot-take operators with no rooms.
  • Anyone who needs a dashboard to feel busy.
  • Anyone who confuses urgency with theater.
  • Anyone who needs to talk about “AI” before they’ve shipped.

We have enough dashboards.

How we hire · 04 steps

How we hire.

No panel of seven. No fake take-home project. No theater.

01

A note, in writing.

Two paragraphs about what you would build, and why. The form below.

02

A walking conversation.

Forty-five minutes, in person where possible. We talk about a real problem, not whiteboard puzzles.

03

A day in a room.

Time inside one of the restaurants we work alongside. You see the work as it actually happens.

04

An offer, written.

If we are right for each other, we put it on paper — terms, expectations, scope. Then you decide.
